Yves Charette explains why Mitch Gagnon couldn’t fight at UFC on FOX 2

Today’s “The MMA Show with Mauro Ranallo” podcast featured sound bites from Yves Charette, the trainer of Canadian UFC fighter Mitch Gagnon, whose fight with Johnny Bedford at UFC on FOX 2 was scrapped due to Gagnon not being able to obtain a visa.

“I think the next time Mitch fights he should be good to go. Because of Christmas and because we had issues with the mail in Sudbury — we had three or four ice days, so mail wasn’t being delivered or being picked up — I think those are the things that were issues (as to why Gagnon had visa problems). I guess the stars weren’t aligning for us at this time.”
