With the NFL draft expanding to three days this year, more players have been invited to attend the 2010 edition than in years past.

A total of 16 guys will be chilling in the green room at Radio City Music Hall this year:

QB Sam Bradford of Oklahoma
RB C.J. Spiller of Clemson
RB Jahvid Best of Cal
WR Demaryius Thomas of Georgia Tech
OT Russell Okung of Oklahoma State
OT Bryan Bulaga of Iowa
OT  Trent Williams of Oklahoma
DT Ndamukong Suh of Nebraska
DT Gerald McCoy of Oklahoma
DT Lamarr Houston of Texas
DT Jared Odrick of Penn State
DT  Dan Williams of Tennessee
DE Derrick Morgan of Georgia Tech
CB Joe Haden of Florida
CB Brandon Ghee of Wake Forest
S Eric Berry of Tennessee

The obvious omission from the list: Tim Tebow, who was invited but is pulling a Joe Thomas and staying away.

With only one round on the Thursday night, there’s obviously a decent-sized risk that one or more of these 16 players will still be on the board when things wrap up on the first night. So do you come back for the Friday night? Isn’t that kind of embarrassing?

Word is the NFL won’t force players to sit in the green room the whole time this year, so I suppose they can dodge the cameras if things begin to approach Aaron Rodgers territory.
