Well, today was supposed to be doomsday, but now it looks as though that might be delayed a week or two.

In a surprising turn of events, the NFL and NFLPA might be on the verge of extending the current collective bargaining agreement for several weeks in order to get a deal done.

If that’s the case, it means the start of the new league year gets pushed back, and it also probably means the sides agree to “stop the clock.” In other words: no player movement whatsoever until a deal is reached.
