One year ago, nobody would have predicted that a dude named Peyton Hillis would be on the cover of Madden 2012 the following summer. But the Browns running back continues to be the Cinderella story of EA Sports’ Madden bracket.

After taking care of Jamaal Charles in the Elite Eight, Hillis has moved on to the Final Four, where he’ll take on tournament favourite and No. 1 seed Aaron Rodgers, who had more trouble than expected with Danny Woodhead last round.

Meanwhile, Drew Brees is gone. Michael Vick will take on Adrian Peterson in the other semifinal matchup. Both Vick and AP have a lot of momentum, so that could be a close battle.

While Rodgers and Peterson are fairly standard candidates, Hillis would become quite possibly the least famous player to ever grace the Madden cover. Vick would be the most controversial.
