It’s admittedly childish, but there’s part of my mind that can’t finalize a major signing until the player in question is seen wearing his new uniform, even if it’s just on the practice field.

Nnamdi Asomugha was easily the most coveted free agent prize during what was a wild, historic, and at times exhausting week of teams tapping the NFL’s open market dry. He was the centerpiece of a free agent coup by the Eagles, but with the new CBA rules in place Asomugha has to remain on the Eagles’ training camp sidelines and can’t practice with his new team until Thursday.
