We’ve scoured the world wide web for the latest news on eight pertinent injury situations…

The Broncos are a mess. A Thursday practice report from Sporting News:

The lengthy list of absentees: cornerback Champ Bailey (hamstring); defensive end Elvis Dumervil (shoulder), wide receiver Brandon Lloyd (groin), running back Knowshon Moreno (hamstring), defensive tackle Marcus Thomas (shoulder), linebacker D.J. Williams (elbow), defensive tackle Ty Warren (triceps surgery) and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (Achilles’/finger).

The biggest concerns are obviously Bailey, Lloyd and Dumervil. Bailey and Lloyd are up in the air, while it appears Dumervil will miss at least one game. Lucky break for whoever starts at quarterback for Cincinnati.

And it’ll probably be Andy Dalton. The rookie practiced fully Thursday despite a wrist injury.

Sam Bradford is “ahead of schedule.” His finger feels much better, which should have him in the lineup Monday night against the Giants.

Dez Bryant still isn’t practicing. But Jerry Jones is confident the second-year wideout will play Sunday against the Niners.

Hakeem Nicks is lucky to have an extra day. But his status for Monday night’s game against the Rams is still cloudy due to swelling in his knee.

Jeff Otah isn’t practicing for Carolina. He’s a key cog on that offensive line. Without him, Cam Newton could be in trouble.

Marcedes Lewis didn’t practice again Thursday for Jacksonville. The Jags need every weapon they have against the Jets.

Stevie Johnson might have a mystery injury. Buffalo’s top wideout was out of practice today and no one seems to know why. If it’s something serious enough to keep him out on Sunday, David Nelson could be a huge fantasy play against Oakland.
