It’s playoff time, so every injury is magnified. Here’s the NFL’s official injury report for Wednesday, along with our spin on the ones that matter most.

Bengals at Texans

Bengals:

Did not practice: T Anthony Collins (not injury related), QB Andy Dalton (illness), S Taylor Mays (hamstring), LB Dontay Moch (illness), DE Frostee Rucker (shoulder)

Limited in practice: RB Cedric Benson (foot), C Kyle Cook (foot), S Chris Crocker (knee)

Texans:

Did not practice: LB Bryan Braman (neck)

Limited in practice: CB Jason Allen (back), G Mike Brisiel (ankle), TE Owen Daniels (knee), CB Johnathan Joseph (achilles), T Derek Newton (hip), S Troy Nolan (ankle)

Practiced fully: G Antoine Caldwell (ankle), RB James Casey (knee), DT Shaun Cody (knee), TE Joel Dreessen (knee), RB Arian Foster (knee), WR Andre Johnson (hamstring), WR Bryant Johnson (thigh), CB Sherrick McManis (ankle), C Chris Myers (knee), S Glover Quin (ankle, elbow), T Eric Winston (calf), QB T.J. Yates (left shoulder)

GLS ANALYSIS: Dalton has the flu, according to Marvin Lewis, so that isn’t a big concern. Good to see Andre Johnson getting a full week of practice in. Both teams are healthier than they’ve been in a while, especially since T.J. Yates looks to be fine after suffering a shoulder separation in the season finale.

Lions at Saints

Lions:

Did not practice: WR Calvin Johnson (achilles)

Limited in practice: CB Aaron Berry (shoulder), S Louis Delmas (knee), DT Nick Fairley (foot), S Chris Harris (back), CB Chris Houston (hand, knee), CB Alphonso Smith (foot), RB Kevin Smith (ankle, knee)

Practiced fully: DE Cliff Avril (back), DT Corey Williams (hip), DE Willie Young (ankle)

Saints:

Did not practice: LB Jonathan Casillas (knee), TE John Gilmore (toe), WR Lance Moore (hamstring)

Limited in practice: LB Jonathan Vilma (knee)

Practiced fully: S Jonathon Amaya (shoulder), S Malcolm Jenkins (neck), WR Robert Meachem (knee)

GLS ANALYSIS: Johnson has been known to sit out Wednesday practices due to bumps and bruises, so it’s not time to panic if you’re a Lions fan. That said, Detroit has a lot more to worry about with one less day to prepare than normal. Also, Kevin Smith was already hurt before suffering a scare in a collision at practice today.

Falcons at Giants

Falcons:

Did not practice: DE John Abraham (not injury related), WR Harry Douglas (groin), TE Tony Gonzalez (not injury related), CB Brent Grimes (knee), C Todd McClure (not injury related), WR Kerry Meier (groin), S William Moore (groin), LB Stephen Nicholas (toe), TE Michael Palmer (knee), RB Michael Turner (groin), LB Sean Weatherspoon (head)

Limited in practice: DT Peria Jerry (calf), WR Julio Jones (thumb), TE Reggie Kelly (back), LB Curtis Lofton (ankle), RB Jason Snelling (knee), WR Roddy White (hip)

Practiced fully: DT Jonathan Babineaux (hamstring), RB Mike Cox (finger), CB Christopher Owens (hand)

Giants:

Did not practice: RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot), LB Mark Herzlich (ankle)

Limited in practice: TE Jake Ballard (knee), RB Da’Rel Scott (knee), DE Osi Umenyiora (ankle, knee)

GLS ANALYSIS: Mike Smith hopes that most of the names on that laundry list will return tomorrow, but I’m slightly worried about Grimes and Weatherspoon. Grimes didn’t play Sunday and they’ll need Weatherspoon at his best with Nicholas probably out and Mike Peterson definitely out. With Bradshaw, Ballard and Umenyiora almost sure to play, the Giants are in much better shape.

Steelers at Broncos

Steelers:

Did not practice: CB Cortez Allen (shoulder), LB James Harrison (toe), DE Brett Keisel (groin), RB Mewelde Moore (knee), S Troy Polamalu (calf)

Limited in practice: C Maurkice Pouncey (ankle), QB Ben Roethlisberger (ankle)

Practiced fully: G Doug Legursky (shoulder), LB LaMarr Woodley (hamstring)

Broncos:

Did not practice: S Brian Dawkins (neck), RB Spencer Larsen (knee), WR Eddie Royal (toe)

Limited in practice: S David Bruton (achilles)

Practiced fully: LB Von Miller (thumb)

GLS ANALYSIS: Ryan Clark has already been ruled out for the Steelers, while Roethlisberger reportedly suffered a setback Sunday. Making matters worse, Pittsburgh won’t have Rashard Mendenhall and it looks as though Harrison, Woodley, Polamalu and Keisel will be less than 100 percent on defense, while Pouncey and Legursky are less than 100 percent on offense. Kind of a mess. Denver isn’t in great shape either, though, as Dawkins is unlikely to play and guard Chris Kuper is out for the rest of the year.
