INDIANAPOLIS — On one hand, Super Bowl Media Day is overrated, because the players still don’t really say much of interest and the clown acts have mostly grown old. But on the other hand, it’s usually worth a few laughs as the players let their guard down while surrounded by TV Azteca’s finest.

Here’s what I saw on Media Day at Lucas Oil Stadium:

For the first time ever, fans were invited to pay to watch players get interviewed. What’s amazing is that Jerry Jones didn’t pioneer this grand example of highway robbery at last year’s Super Bowl in Dallas. In the crowd was a wannabe Tom Brady, complete with his very own Gisele…

Then there was your standard goofball who refused to reveal why he was dressed the way he was…

And of course your annual child reporter…

Boston native Maria Menounos was on hand, and the entertainment host wasn’t too worried about revealing a bias…

Last year, Kevin Frazier was joined by Brooklyn Decker. This year, he brought Ciara along. Well done, Kevin. Well done…

Mario Manningham’s view…

This dude was back causing a ruckus…

Of course there was awkward dancing…

I tried to get creative (and failed)…

And Tom was once again the most popular man in the house…
