Having any contact whatsoever with a former employer who no longer needed your services can be awkward. But the Houston Texans aren’t content with basic awkwardness. Nope, only the kind of weirdness inspired by mail and marketing errors will satisfy their thirst.

The Texans were forced to cut tackle Eric Winston due to salary cap constraints, and he then signed with the Chiefs, agreeing to a four-year deal worth $22 million. That’s a pretty far drive if he plans to use his luxury suite at Reliant Stadium that the Texans are asking him to purchase.

Yes, that actually happened, and Winston received this ad in the mail yesterday…


Winston graciously declined because he’ll be far too busy on Sundays in Kansas City to use a suite in Texas.
