Usually when you hear of different promotions at halftime around the NFL, you first think of how far contestants can kick a football through an upright.
But during Monday Night Football on Oct. 15 when the San Diego Chargers host the Denver Broncos, a familiar face will take to the field for a very good cause.
Phil Mickelson will attempt a $1 million shot at halftime for First Book, a non-profit organization which provides new books for children in need. He will be in one end zone, aiming for a target located in the other end-zone that’s 100-yards away.
For the million to be won, Mickelson will have to chip the ball 100 yards and into the bull’s eye.
