Terrell Suggs, the reigning Associated Press defensive player of the year for the Baltimore Ravens, may be back on the field for an October 21st tilt against the Houston Texans, according to reports.

Although some feel a week 7 return is possible, members of the Ravens think it’s more realistic a return to the lineup will occur on Nov. 4 against the Cleveland Browns. The Ravens placed Suggs on the physically unable to perform list to start the season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon on May 8.

This season, the Ravens defense ranks 15th in sacks after finishing 3rd in the league last year behind the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles. In place of Suggs, who recorded a team-high 14 sacks in 2011, linebackers Paul Kruger and Courtney Upshaw have combined for two sacks.
