The New York Giants got some good news on the injury front, as wide receiver Hakeem Nicks returned to the practice field, taking part in individual drills earlier today. Nicks has missed the last three games with knee and foot injuries suffered in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

If you picked up receivers Domenik Hixon (15 rec for 236 yards), Ramses Barden (12 rec for 198 yards) or Rueben Randle (7 rec for 86 yards) keep them on your roster for the time being. Nicks’ return to practice doesn’t guarantee he’ll play Week 6 against the 49ers, though, as the team will keep an eye on how the foot and knee respond to the light drills he participated in today. On the year, Nicks has 237 yards on 14 receptions and one touchdown.
In other Giants injury news, tight end Martellus Bennett caught a few passes during individual drills today. Bennett left the game Sunday against the Browns with a hyper-extended knee. Running back Andre Brown did not practice after suffering a concussion on Sunday, so expect David Wilson to be Ahmad Bradshaw`s backup this weekend against San Francisco.
