You were just sitting there, enjoying a Friday afternoon of egg nog drinking. It’s a little early, but I won’t judge.
Then you saw that Ahmad Bradshaw didn’t practice today due to his still lingering foot issue, and he’s officially listed as questionable. Then his happened.
You’ll have to pay for that. What’s worse is that you’ve now destroyed a perfectly good Commodore 64 for nothing.
Or at least that’s what Tom Coughlin would like us to believe. The chronically-injured Bradshaw had his foot stepped on during the Giants’ 26-3 Week 6 trouncing of San Francisco, a game in which he had 116 rushing yards on 27 carries. It was the second straight game when he did things that a healthy Ahmad Bradshaw can do, as combined with his explosion the previous week against Cleveland he has 349 all-purpose yards over his last two games, with two touchdowns.
Surely concerned about our respective teams, Coughlin said we have nothing to worry about because today was just a day of rest, as Bradshaw was “a little sore”. The rest was done as part of the ongoing effort to get Bradshaw fully healthy on a game day…any game day. While that sounds like a noble goal, it also sounds impossible.
Regardless, Bradshaw owners likely don’t have much to worry about, even though throughout the weekend he’ll be treated like a game-time decision. Hopefully you’re also a David Wilson owner if you’re a Bradshaw owner just in case there’s a freak setback with an RB who has chronic foot problems dating back to last season, and he’s already missed one game this year.
If you like birth control, you like David Wilson. Or something.
