We break briefly from our fantasy musings and failed prognostications to share with you what I believe is a first in the history of the civilized world: a car dedicated to a backup quarterback.
Below courtesy of Sports Crackle Pop is the Tim Tebow car. It’s a Nissan Xterra, and oddly a generic mid-level SUV is a suitable canvas for a tribute to a man who’s quite unique, and also quite boring and irrelevant. Tim Tebow is all things to everyone.
Surely something similar surfaced in Denver last year, because everything Tebow happened there. The fan songs were my favorite slice of the Tebow era in Denver, as they came complete with an old man and his humble ukelele. But while we surely haven’t seen everything Tebow lunacy has to offer, willingly driving a tribute to a backup quarterback makes me whimper for society.
