He pointed for a change of possession and a Patriots first down. Hence, I called it a first down dance. But really, all that matters here is that Brandon Spikes brings all of the awesome.
change of possession is the intention. I don’t think defensive players focus on their unit getting the first down, because that would be impossible.
When there is a change in possession, the offense has a first down. But I’m not in the business of reading Spikes’ mind.
