RG3, who was injured in the Redskins playoff loss to the Seahawks, underwent surgery to repair his LCL and ACL in his right knee back in early January. He was expected to be out nine to 12 months.
Before the injury, the NFL’s offensive rookie of the year was a potential top overall pick in most fantasy drafts next season, after throwing for 3,200 yards and 20 touchdowns along with 815 yards rushing and seven scores.
