Terron Armstead breaks a combine record

Offensive Linemen aren’t required to run 40 yards in a straight line very often. Yet, for reasons unbeknownst to me they’re required to partake in the 40-yard dash at every combine. It’s not fun to watch, none of the combine is. Until today. Terron Armstead has done the impossible in Indianapolis. Check it out.

The Arkansas-Pine Bluff tackle set a combine record with an unofficial 4.65 40-yard dash, a time that was later corrected to 4.71. The previous mark was 4.84, set by Allen Barbe in 2007. Cool stuff.

  1. Certain aspects of the combine are fun to watch, but maybe its because I’m an Oakland fan and can count on always having a good pick lol. Watching Julio Jones combine was unreal. Under 4 40 on a broken foot, what a specimen.
