Eagles looking at Eric Winston

Kansas City Chiefs v San Diego Chargers

On Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs released right tackle Eric Winston which saves them $6.5 million in cap space. According to Philly.com, the Eagles have already spoken to Drew Rosenhaus, Winston’s agent, to express interest in the free agent. The Texans, who drafted Winston, have also talked to Rosenhaus. Winston has started all 96 games since becoming a starter in 2007.

The Eagles have over $30 million in cap space and could easily afford to sign the tackle.
