Dolphins get another one done: QB Matt Moore is sticking around. He has signed a deal to stay with Miami as Tannehill’s backup, source says.

The Miami Dolphins have re-signed backup Quarterback Matt Moore according to a tweet from Jeff Darlington. While terms of the deal weren’t disclosed, it’s assumed Moore will be one of the league’s higher paid backups. Moore’s re-signing weakens already thin Free Agent Quarterback class.
The move caps a busy couple days for the Dolphins, as they re-signed WR Brian Hartline to a 5-year, $30.77M deal late last night. GM Jeff Ireland is expected to make at least one more splash in Free Agency. Pro Football Talk’s Darin Gantt hypothesizes the Fins will look to add a big name Wide Receiver.
Moore started 12 games in 2011, throwing for 2,497 yards, 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions for a QB rating of 87.1. Last year Moore appeared in 10 games, taking to backseat to rookie Ryan Tannehill.
