Rashard Mendenhall is drawing interest from the Denver Broncos, according to the Denver Post’s Mike Klis.
The 25-year-old running back averaged 1,103 yards in a three year period after being selected in the first round of the 2008 draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Mendenhall tore his ACL in the final game of the 2011 season and was generally ineffective last year. Klis reports the Broncos have a ‘menu’ of 12 to 15 free agents they will target. The free agent market officially opens at 4 p.m EST on Tuesday.
