The Chicago Bears are believed to be interested in offensive tackle Phil Loadholt. According to Tom Pelissero, the Bears are offering more money to Loadholt as the Vikings do not want to increase their offer to more than $5 million per year. It has also been reported that the Vikings are looking to cut cap space.

Loadholt would be an improvement for Chicago’s weak offensive line. QB Jay Cutler has been sacked 113 times over his last 40 games and has missed seven games since 2010.
