Buffalo Bills v New England Patriots

The Buffalo Bills have released quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick according to Adam Schefter. Fitzpatrick has been the Bills starting quarterback since the 2009 season though he was benched in favor of Trent Edwards for the first two games of the 2010 season. He was signed to a controversial six year, $59 million contract in October of 2011.

Fitzpatrick became the subject of intense criticism in Buffalo after a lackluster 2011 which saw him lead the league with 23 interceptions and a 2012 that wasn’t much better, throwing for just 24 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.

  1. Man, what an epic fall apart. They got off to a good start that year, signed him mid season…then went down hill almost right away. He sure fooled them.
