The Cleveland Browns are showing interest in former Redskins tight end Fred Davis, according to Adam Schefter,
One league source familiar with thinking of Washington free-agent TE Fred Davis said Redskins and Browns “are serious about signing him.”

Davis, who has spent is first five years in the league with the Washington Redskins, played in only seven games last season, recording 24 receptions for 325 yards . The Browns, who were rumored to have interest in free agent Jared Cook, are not expected to re-sign Ben Watson
Last week, NFL.com reported the Redskins expected to re-sign for former 2nd round pick of the Redskins in 2008.
