The New England Patriots continue to add to their defence, signing CB Aqib Talib to a one-year deal worth $5 million according to a tweet from Adam Schefter.
Talib joins Adrian Wilson and Kyle Arrington in the Patriots secondary. A relatively weak market for Corner Backs prevented the former University of Kansas star from getting a multi-year deal. That, and a troublesome past that has included several arrests.
New England acquired Talib in a trade with Tampa Bay last season. In six games for the Pats the 27-year old recorded 13 tackles and one interception.
