Abraham, Freeney to visit Broncos

Indianapolis Colts v Oakland Raiders

Broncos head of football operations, John Elway, confirmed the club was still in negotiations with defensive end Elvis Dumervil on a new contract, and now the team has arranged meetings with both Dwight Freeney and John Abraham, according to Adam Schefter.

Freeney, who has played in entire career with the Indianapolis Colts, recorded 12 tackles, five sacks and one tackle for a loss in 14 games last season. He has drawn interest from several clubs this off-season, including the New England Patriots.

Abraham, who reportedly was close to a deal with New England a few days ago, is expected to visit with the Broncos in the coming days.

In 16 games last year, the former 1st round pick by the Jets in the 2000 draft recorded 32 tackles and 10 sacks.
