According to a report from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Ed Bouchette, the Pittsburgh Steelers are interested in signing free agent defensive end Dwight Freeney.
Bouchette states the Broncos also have interest in the former Colt, a story that has been circulating ever since Denver lost out on re-signing Elvis Dumervil. Rotoworld suggests the Saints could also be in on Freeney.
Last season Freeney played 14 games for the Colts with 13 starts. He notched five sacks, 10 tackles, one deflected pass and one forced fumble. The Syracuse alum missed time with an ankle injury.
