New Orleans Saints v Oakland Raiders

The New York Jets have signed running back Chris Ivory to a three-year deal, according to multiple reports.

Ivory, who was acquired by the Jets from the New Orleans Saints for a fourth round-pick, ran for 217 yards on 40 carries last season, scoring two touchdowns.

Jets general manager John Idzik:

“He’s a very physical, violent runner, he’s got size, he’s got speed. He runs with attitude, he plays with attitude.”

The Jets backfield now consists of Mike Goodson, Bilal Powell, Joe McKnight along with Ivory.
