On the heels of an uplifting come from behind victory against Green Bay, the Colts received some bad news today. Andrew Luck will be without the services of Donald Brown when Indianapolis travels to MetLife stadium to take on the Jets.
The Indy Star’s Phillip B. Wilson has the info:
Brown had surgery Tuesday to repair torn knee cartilage, interim coach Bruce Arians said today. The initial timetable on Brown’s return is two to three weeks, Arians said.
Arians stated rookie RB Vick Ballard will get the start against the Jets with Delone Carter expected to back him up. The Jets run defense was straight up gouged by the Texans on Monday night so if you’re in need of a flex option this week Ballard is worth a flyer.
