Sad news yesterday, as Brian Burke’s 21 year-old son Brendan died in a car accident in Indiana, along with his passenger, 18 year-old Mark Reedy.
There’s not much that can be said here, except to say that our thoughts are with Burke and his family at this time.

I look up to Burke alot and feel his loyalty and passion is amazing. Im sure his son was the same and this is a sad day for him and everyone

I’m not a big fan of Brian Burke the GM, but I have lots of respect for Brian Burke as a person. A very sad loss of a brave individual in Brenden who did something that I cannot even fathom doing. And the fact that he’s two years younger than myself is a very sobering thought. Another bright light taken far too soon.
