Watching this series go from a possible sweep by the Boston Bruins to one that suddenly seems within reach of the Flyers hasn’t gone over well with fans in Boston.  Watching a 4-0 loss on home ice in Game Five surely didn’t help matters either, as the team was booed off the ice to end the game.

On the Flyers’ side, Brian Boucher became the latest victim of the Flyers’ goaltending curse, leaving the game midway through with a lower body injury.  Michael Leighton finished off the shutout, and seems likely to get the call over the next two games.  Boucher will have an MRI some time today.  It’s not a huge loss for the Flyers, at least if Leighton plays at all well; Boucher was splendid against the Devils but has been underwhelming so far against Boston and didn’t inspire confidence over the regular season.
