After taking in Jordan Eberle’s unforgettable first career goal last night, the HOTH staff has been busy rummaging through the NHL archives (YouTube) for highlights of some of the best ‘first goals’ in NHL history. We’ve pared the list down to 7, with a couple honorable mentions. YouTube, unfortunately, wasn’t around in the 1920s, although we’re sure Busher Jackson probably potted a dandy for his first career marker. Let us know what you think, did we miss anyone?
7. Ron Hextall – 12/08/1987
6. Pavel Bure – 11/12/1991

3. Ville Leino – 01/31/2009
2. Mario Lemieux – 10/11/1984
