Jarome Iginla used a second period penalty shot to notch his 30th goal of the season, and in the process joined an elite group of NHL goal scorers. Iginla became just the 10th player in NHL history to record 30 goals in 10 or more consecutive seasons. Iginla joins Mike Bossy, Marcel Dionne, Phil Esposito, Mike Gartner, Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Hull, Jaromir Jagr and Jari Kurri as the only players in league history to accomplish this feat.
Calgary would go on to defeat the Nashville Predators by a final score of 3-2 on Sunday after Iginla tied the game at 2 on his succesful penalty shot attempt.
