Chris Pronger has not played since taking a Ty Wishart shot off his right hand on February 24th versus the New York Islanders. According to a report from CSNPhilly, the Philadelphia Flyers will be without Pronger’s services for an estimated 3-4 weeks as the 36-year old defenceman is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday for his fractured hand.

Pronger missed time to begin the season while recovering from offseason knee surgery, and missed 13 games in December and January after breaking his foot. In 50 games this season Pronger has registered four goals and 25-points.
