The Brothers Dube (not of Christian, I hope) claim to be Canada’s youngest rock band. Instead of auto-tuning their way through a song about Friday and the days that follow, they’re taking on real issues in Canadian society like head shots in hockey. These ‘Bubbles glasses’ sporting youths of today are fed up with head hits, apparently. The Brothers Dube have a message they want to get out:

S-O-S (Save our Skulls)
WHAT IS THERE TO THINK ABOUT?
EVEN KIDS KNOW HEAD SHOTS SHOULD BE OUT!!!!
BAN THEM NOW!

To help spread their message, The Brothers Dube have released a suspiciously polished single on YouTube titled “Boom Boom – Out Go My Lights”. Child rock bands don’t exactly enter the realm of things I’d ever expose my ears to, but this is easily the most mentions of ‘brains’ in a song since the Danzig era Misfits. I would love to tell you that this song and accompanying video were embarrassingly terrible, but I just can’t when a singer belts a line like “Rock’Em Sock’em, so says Don – he’s making millions but my brains are gone”.
