It’s no secret that things aren’t going well for the Montreal Canadiens right now. They’re not winning games, their GM just apologized for the primary language spoken by their coach and (I’m assuming) that beyond Carey Price, anyone with any trade value could by shipped out at any time.
With all of that in mind, things boiled over today as Tomas Plekanec and P.K. Subban got into a scrap during practice. During a drill, the two players lost their tempers and fought until teammates broke up the tussle. Luckily for the Habs – on the ice and off the ice – nobody got any haymakers off and neither player was injured.
Take a look at today’s rough stuff in Montreal.
We’ll have to see if this is just another issue on the long list of things which could spur change in La Belle Province.
