Every so often there is a save that makes you stop and go “wow.” Ondrej Pavelec of the Winnipeg Jets decided it has been too long since one of these saves happened and thought he would spot us all the difference in time with one that will be on highlight reels until every year end countdown on December 31st.
On this play, Pavelec finds himself with a scramble in front of the net. With a whole host of bodies in front of the net and a loose puck somewhere amongst them, he has no idea where the disc is. When the puck trickles out to Jakub Voracek, the save Pavelec comes up with is absolutely magic.

Great save but Voracek needs to slam that home not chip it in the air.
Easier said than done IMHO. Voracek was on his backhand with awkward body position.
yeah he was sort of fading away from it. He was lucky enough to have even gotten it in the air.
