In the midst of the Jeff Carter-to-LA trade fall out came one interesting tidbit of information. Apparently Dean Lombardi was more than willing to part with team captain Dustin Brown. Brown was seen as a key part of the Kings’ core going forward but with a forward core that’s getting increasingly crowded, it appears as though Brown may have become a man on the outside looking in.

Well, any team that is interested in acquiring Brown’s services probably should have done that before he went off on Saturday night. In the first game of the new look Kings set up, Brown recorded a natural hat trick, potting LA’s first three goals of the game.

Here are his three goals.

Attention general managers: Dustin Brown doesn’t want out and if you want to get him, you’ll have to pony up.
