Out of my way.

I’m going to try and do these for as many playoff games as possible with updates as games go along. Feel free to drop in your comments as you watch either below or using the #BShelf hashtag on twitter or on our facebook page.

I haven’t been flamed yet for picking the Kings to win this series but I fully expect a very closely contested seven games. The high flying Canucks take on the defensively staunch Kings for game one in Vancouver with a couple tough acts to follow going on in Nashville and Pittsburgh right now. I don’t want to say prepare for a letdown but… those two games were REALLY good.

Fast Facts

-In a matchup of really good goaltenders, Roberto Luongo will go toe-to-toe with Vezina shortlister Jonathan Quick of the Kings. These guys were outrageous during the season series.

Quick’s line vs. the Canucks this season: 2-2-0; 1.73 GAA; .941 SV%
Luongo’s line vs. the Kings this season: 2-1-1; 1.96 GAA; .944 SV%

Seriously. Woah.

-Daniel Sedin will NOT play in game one against the Kings due to the concussion he sustained from Duncan Keith’s headshot and apparent neck problems.
