Words. There are none.

It makes me sad that the Jersey Shore cast have become the unofficial television representatives of the great state of New Jersey, but these are strange times we live in. There are of course many obvious jokes to be made here along the lines of “The Jersey Shore cast has had more shots since the opening faceoff than the Devils,” but that just feels too easy.

Regardless of what happens in this series, as a human being I can only hope that The Sopranos go down as the official television show of New Jersey and the Devils by proxy. I can only imagine what Tony Soprano himself would say at HIS face not being behind the bench as a sign of mockery. He’d probably be furious.

Ok, maybe not.

Points for effort to the folks who had those signs made. Well played.

  1. I love DeBoer’s face in this picture. It looks like he’s terrified. Clarkson, too. Even though I suspect they were just watching a replay.

Which brings me to my question: As a NJ fan, would I rather watch 3 episodes of Jersey Shore in a row, or game 4? Yeah, it’s that painful to watch.
