A little under a month ago, partial rosters for the Winter Classic Alumni game were revealed, and they looked like this:

* Chris Osgood
* Mike Vernon
* Dino Ciccarelli
* Alex Delvecchio
* Ted Lindsay
* Darren McCarty
* Kris Draper
* Chris Chelios
* John Ogrodnick
* Luc Robataille
* Larry Murphy
* Mark Howe
* Joey Kocur
* Kirk Maltby
* Mickey Redmond

And for Toronto…

* Mike Palmateer
* Curtis Joseph
* Felix Potvin
* Doug Gilmour
* Wendel Clark
* Dave Andreychuk
* Darcy Tucker
* Rick Vaive
* Daryl Sittler
* Kevin Maguire

Well, a few new names have been added to the list.

For Detroit, Hall of Famer Paul Coffey has been added, as well Mathieu Dandenault and Martin Lapoint.

The Leafs countered a Hall-of-Famer with another, as Lanny McDonald has agreed to strap on the wheels and participate. He’ll be joined trainer extraordinaire Gary Roberts, and Bryan McCabe. Let the “own goal” jokes start, Leafs fans!

  1. New “editions”? One would assume you mean new “additions”.

  2. Also added about a week ago were Sergei Fedorov, Slava Fetisov, Igor Larionov and Vladimir Konstantinov for Detroit…Gary Leeman, Russ Courtnall, Bill Derlago, Bob McGill, Vincent Damphousse and Dave Ellett for Toronto.

  3. Its hard to believe you are paid to write. Read it once before putting something online.

    (Editor’s note: “It is,” when contracted, requires an apostrophe.)

    • Not sure how you got the “Editor’s Note” in there, but that is truly awesome. Great job, Bourne.

      Poster’s Note: I’m a different Andrew than the one who posted the dickish comment above.

  4. Hey Justin, I’ll gladly proof any post before you put it online, if only to prevent the predicable douchy comments. :)

  5. Where’s lidstrom and sundin?
