Hellooooooo! I cannot tell you how much easier it is to do a hockey podcast when you have hockey to talk about. I can try though: a lot. It’s a lot easier.

Today’s podcast serves as a primer for those of you who’ve forgotten about the moves made last off-season, and what we’re going to be dealing with in 2013.

We hit on:

* All the goalie movement

* The impact of the movement of key players (Staal/Parise/Suter/Nash)

* What a healthy Crosby can do

* The Oilers potential

* The Leafs top 6 and more

* Where’s Luongo going

* And much more.

  1. yay!! NHL coverage again.

    • Why the jump back to non video feed?

      • The vodcast was a sponsored thing by Bacardi for the World Juniors. We’re moving buildings soon and building a new studio – the current plan is for all 2013-14 to be vodcasts.

  2. Does anyone actually call the number at the end of the recording?

    I like you guys and all, but I’m not picking the phone up to tell you that.

  3. J. Staal already has a Cup ring from 2009.

  4. I don’t really agree with the Nash “in the Olympics with good players looking good” thing.

    To me, it looked like he was trying to go one on four instead of passing it to his linemates. This makes sense when his linemates are…whatever they’ve been on Columbus. It doesn’t make sense when both of his linemates are better than him (Staal and Crosby).
