Huberdeau’s first NHL goal

It didn’t happen on Hockey Night in Canada, but while you were watching hockey, Jonathan Huberdeau’s NHL career got off to an excellent start. He scored his first career goal tonight on a shot in close off of a pass from ALEXEI KOVALEV (yes, that one).

We’ll see if two points in his first career game shift those Calder odds in his direction.

  1. The Calder race begins

  2. It’s so nice to see the Panthers actually playing hockey. As opposed to whatever it was they were playing when Jacques Martin was in charge.
