He’ll be bragging about it all the way down to the Marlies…oh wait the Burke/Wilson era is over.
Leafs fans are hilarious. I don’t know one of them that didn;t bitch about Burke drafting Kadri, and I know a lot. Up until this year that is, and up until recently how Kessel was a great trade is- all I ever heard. Good thing Burke developed him the right way and let him mature into a stronger two-way player in the AHL. Kadri and Reilly are probably the best two draft picks in the last ten years, maybe more like 20. Stop bitching about Burke, at least your team is finally on the right track.
Close……. Most “true” Leaf fans b*tch about Kessel and what we may have had in stead of. Kadri has shown his true potential from the get go and keeping him down with the Marlies till this season was briliant as he needed to be “grounded” after so much praise from a few games seasons before.
