Dustin Brown signed for this season and next, then becomes a UFA in the summer of 2014.
I’m in agreement with the Podcast crew over teams getting rid of players sooner rather than later to get more in return for them. This works especially well for smaller market teams. A good cross sport example of this would be the Tampa Bay Rays in MLB.
