Leopold has played in 24 games for the Sabres this season, recording two goals and six assists. Over his career for the Flames, Avalanche, Panthers, Penguins and Sabres, the former second round pick of the Anaheim Ducks in 1999 has 65 goals in 610 games.
The Blues currently have 36 points on the season, good for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
