  1. Awesome stuff. Don’t like seeing a couple Sabres taking cheap shots at Jagr. Should have more respect than that…for many reasons.

  2. Yes, a team like the Bruins deserve so much respect. Oh wait, they ran the goalie on purpose last year…

    • You totally missed the point

      • I didn’t. The tribute is one thing, I liked when both teams did the high stick salute at the end. But the hockey game is another.

        • Wasn’t referring to the tribute. Jagr is probably the last guy in the league who people should be taking shots at. He’s a six week rental for the Bruins, hardly exemplifying the “team that ran the goalie last year”

    • Funny, I could have sworn Milan Lucic ran “the goalie” on purpose last year. “They” is plural, unless I’m mistaken.

      • Don’t remember any Bruin raising any doubt that it wasn’t the best idea. They stood behind Lucic, and Chara the year before.

So don’t complain if other teams are taking shots at their players, rentals or not.

        • Maybe Miller shouldn’t have come 20 feet out of his net into Lucic’s lane. Also, do people really think Chara meant to injure Pacioretty like he did?

Anyway, that wasn’t the point. The point is that taking cheap hits at Jagr, which could cause serious injury is super super lame and Kaleta should e embarrassed. As should the Sabres.

      • Keep moving the goal posts, man, keep moving the goal posts.

    • Yes, all 20 of them ran the goalie on purpose last season. Every one of them. In contrast to the rest of the NHL, because no player ever anywhere else has ever run the goalie on purpose…

Whatever. Any team with guys like Kaleta and Ott can’t play the “respect” card or claim the moral high ground on anything, so get over it.

  3. Good for Boston.
That’s one of the best national anthems I’ve ever heard.
