Boston Bruins v Pittsburgh Penguins - Game One

Hi there, we’re back from the weekend. Today was the first time we went off the air and I was asked “was that for the show’s sake, or do you honestly think that?” That’s how bad the opinion went over (I said I’d start Marc-Andre Fleury tonight). We also discussed:

* Corey Crawford’s post-season

* The Mike Richards injury

* The team’s records at home

* Pittsburgh getting off it’s game

* What the Pens need to change

* Vokoun/Fleury

* And much more

  1. You guys saying that Marchand’s hit was worse than Cooke’s but you’re not the ones who are biased right? Unreal.

    • My first reaction when I saw the hit is that it was worse. A hit from behind 2 to 3 feet from the boards is probably the most dangerous hit in hockey. I have seen a player paralyzed from a hit just like that.

  2. A couple of things, Justin. 1) you said the photo with this post would be McQuaid seeing Cooke coming? 2) Gotta love the audacity of mocking pitcher wins while going with “hunch stuff”. (and that’s still less dumb than Noon wanting to bench Phanuef.)

    and I didn’t think Clark Gilles sounded scary at all, he just sounded like a dad. And an awesome dude.

  3. If the it to which you are referring is possessive, you don’t use an apostrophe. Pittsburgh is of its game.

  4. Hilarious Clark Gillies portion
