That’s kind of a “Mad Libs” headline, but whatever, apparently it’s not that far off true?
Over the weekend MassLive.com had a story about Horton discussing his decision to leave the Bruins and sign a seven year, 37.1 million dollar deal with the Blue Jackets, that includes the following chunk about a really #neat zoo trip that apparently served as a big convincer.
“They brought out all the baby animals. We got to see a big cheetah, they brought him out of the cage and it was pretty cool,” Horton said with a laugh. “Not too many people get to do that. It was really exciting; it was kind of scary at the same time.”
Dylan loves penguins…
Dylan’s his five year old son.
…So the zoo brought one out so he could pet it. The family was won over.
“It was unbelievable,” [John] Davidson said. “They brought a penguin out and the little guy was holding a penguin! I even went over and gave him a little pet.”
Horton said he felt at home everywhere he went around Ohio’s capital city.
I know that you know that I know that this isn’t the sole reason why Nathan Horton signed with the Blue Jackets, but let’s just pretend it is, because that would be hilarious. (This Bruins fan seems to think it’s a large reason, and isn’t happy about it.)
That Horton, man. He sure loves the zoo.
