Yesterday we covered the odds to win the Eastern Conference, Western Conference, and the Stanley Cup, and today we bring to you the latest odds to win the 2013 Conn Smythe trophy as the NHL MVP of the playoffs.
You will notice the oddsmakers feel the Penguins and Blackhawks will be the final two teams playing for the Cup, but with so much parity in the league, you may find some good value elsewhere.
The fantasy hockey season for some may have ended a few weeks back, and for others, last night’s Sens, Bruins game may have been the deciding factor in whether or not you took home the title in your league. The good news with fantasy hockey though, it’s not over just yet.

Odds to Win the 2013 Stanley Cup
The Philadelphia Flyers had a disappointing season, and one player in particular took a majority of the blame for their season, Ilya Bryzgalov. In reality, the entire team from the front office down to the last player on the roster would tell you it had nothing to do with their goaltender. Claude Giroux actually pointed out that he was the team’s best player back in February.
The NHL season is almost over, with just one game to go between playoff-bound Ottawa and Boston, so this means the bottom 14 teams have been determined and with that, so are the draft lottery odds. This year, every team in the lottery has a chance at the first pick, that is expected to be defenseman Seth Jones. The lottery is set to take place Monday night.

Today, fantasy owners in their semifinal matchup have a pretty good indication if they’ve achieved what they set out to accomplish back in January, making the final in your league. By now, it’s obvious you have a good feel for what your team is all about, and most likely don’t need to tinker with your lineup for the coming week, unless, that is, you have Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson stashed away on your IR.
Devils forward Stephen Gionta was involved in a crazy play today in the game between New Jersey and Florida.
Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov nailed Gionta into the Panthers bench with a big hit, but what happens next is really quite something. Gionta gets up pretty quick, and as he’s trying to get back on the ice, gets pushed by Florida defenseman T.J. Brennan.
