So, that game somehow became interesting in the final 60 seconds. The Flames took a 2-1 lead with less than a minute to go and then Marion Hossa did this to send it to overtime, then a shootout, then a Hawks victory. Hockey is neat.
This Justin Schultz goal isn’t really anything to write home about. The important part is that it was a goal scored by Schultz and assisted by Eberle and Hall. This is going to happen a lot. You’re on the right track, Edmonton. You still need a goalie, though.
You know, in a way we had an idea that he would become this sort of legend but, in another way, we had no idea. The Finnish Flash is going to go out the same way he entered — on top. Cherish him, hockey fans. There may not be another one.
